Since I first discovered Taekwondo, way back in the 80s during my stay in Taiwan, I have acquired a deep understanding, appreciation, and love for the dynamics of this powerful martial art.

Taekwondo is not afraid to pull punches you would say. It is solidly structured and physically vibrant. Yet it makes you so light on your feet, and if you join my training programme, who knows? You too will soon be capable of unleashing the devastating high kicks that the art is so famous for.

A master of this art can be quite a formidable opponent to go up against. I wouldn’t know how to bail you out if you ever had to come face to face with such a person. You shouldn’t have messed with him in the first place. I can only advise you to back off immediately and smile continuously like an idiot if you have to… Just joking.

But seriously, it’s not all about guts and glory. Taekwondo teaches us invaluable life lessons: how to be humble and courteous, and how to inculcate the precious attitudes of discipline and respect for your fellow man.

As a complete and comprehensive method of self defense Taekwondo comprises a full toolkit of everything you’ll ever need in any kind of street encounter or potentially life threatening situation.

Your pursuit of Taekwondo will automatically make you stronger and fitter. This works in reverse also, where, if you are already committed to your personal fitness, you will noticeably make greater strides and progress faster in the art. It definitely becomes more demanding up the levels, but provides you with ample physical conditioning and prowess along the way.

After only a short period of time training in this art you will already find your body movement becoming more fluid and natural, your reaction time speeds up immensely, and your day to day qualities of awareness and concentration are greatly increased. You will also experience dramatic improvements in flexibility throughout your body coupled with strong supportive joints and ligaments.

I strongly encourage you to expose your teens, kids and little ones to this type of training. The physical as well as psychological effects are truly phenomenal, and the qualities attained by studying this art continue to benefit them throughout the rest of their lives. Martial arts training goes a long way to building character and mental fortitude.

Parents I know are completely blown away by the transformative effects Taekwondo has on their children. They always mention how the kids seem to develop sharper concentration, focus, and diligence, and perform noticeably better at school.

As a Taekwondo practitioner I have participated in more competitions than I can count, and came out victorious in many of them – a fact of which I am duly proud. I am also a holder of the prestigious European Martial Arts Gold Medal.

I feel privileged to have taught Taekwondo to literally thousands of people – adults, teenagers and children alike. I also had the fortune of training numerous famous celebrities and high profile individuals, and have been requested on many occasions to conduct martial arts performances and demonstrations. These days performance based Martial Arts is like my pet project, where I assist many performers and artists for a variety of shows including for television.

Once upon a time I took part in and won on TV showGermany’s Next Showstars” – which is very similar to Britain’s Got Talent. I have also previously worked with groups of kids preparing them for taking part in such talent shows. There’s no shortage of fun for all and the kids come out with load’s of confidence. If your child likes to act and perform we can look at a special Taekwondo package of training which will prepare him/ her for this exciting opportunity.

My usual 1-2-1 Taekwondo lessons are conducted in London Marble Arch. You can start comfortably at the absolute beginner stage, and I can guide you all the way through to the very advanced levels of what Taekwondo has to offer. As a personal fitness trainer I can also avail myself to teach you in the comfort of your home.
